The Titan: Sheldon Dingwall's pioneering multiscale concept, brought to guitar.
The Titan is Infinia's collaboration with Sheldon Dingwall, founder of Dingwall Guitars and the designer behind decades of multiscale bass innovation. Inspired by the Dingwall NG bass, the Titan is Infinia's first fan-fret instrument — built to bring the clarity, tension balance, and extended-range articulation of multiscale design to guitar players, not just bassists.

The Titan uses a fanned-fret layout with the neutral fret at the 10th, so the feel stays familiar in the middle of the neck while the outer strings get the tension benefits of a longer or shorter scale where they need it most.
6-string: 26" (bass side) to 24.8" (treble side)
7-string: 27" (bass side) to 25.2" (treble side)
The fanned layout also results in a shorter overall instrument length than a traditional straight-scale guitar of comparable scale.

The Titan uses a multi-laminate neck construction consistent with Infinia's other models, with a hidden magnetic truss rod cover as a design detail specific to this model.

The Titan ships with a choice of two Alnico 5 pickup sets, in keeping with the Standard (Icarus/Nautilus) and Modern (Avalon/Exelion) options offered across the Infinia line.

Built to order, currently offered in 6- and 7-string versions. Like the rest of the Infinia line, expect a lead time of several months given small-batch, made-to-order production.

What makes the Titan different from the Ceres and Neptune?
The Titan is Infinia's multiscale model, developed with Sheldon Dingwall of Dingwall Guitars and inspired by his multiscale bass designs — rather than the Padalka-designed Ceres and Neptune shapes.
What is multiscale, and why does it matter?
A multiscale guitar uses a longer scale length on the bass strings and a shorter one on the treble strings, improving tension balance and clarity across the range — especially useful on extended-range instruments.
What's the scale length of the Titan?
26"–24.8" on the 6-string and 27"–25.2" on the 7-string, with the neutral fret at the 10th.
Is Sheldon Dingwall involved in running Infinia?
No — Dingwall designed the Titan as a one-off commission for Infinia. He isn't a partner or owner in the company.
Is the Titan available as an 8-string?
Not currently — it's offered in 6- and 7-string versions.
